Richard L. Brown, Jr., DDS, FAGD is known for his gentle and creative touch. He enjoys helping each of his patients improve their health, appearance, and self-esteem by creating the smile of their dreams, and also maintaining the health and function of their teeth, gums, and bite.

Dr. Richard Brown Jr. was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and raised in Barstow, California, where he graduated from high school. After high school he returned to Oklahoma to attend Northeastern State University and the University of Oklahoma where he received a DDS degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Brown attended a one-year residency in General Dentistry and served as a member of the United States Army. Advanced education and continuing dental study allows him to offer his patients a superior dental experience and an unparalleled level of quality care. He is truly committed to excellence in everything he does.

He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Tulsa County Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society, Tulsa County Endo Study Club, Charter member of Oklahoma Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and previously served as President of the Comanche County Dental Society and the Tulsa County Endo Study Club. He has previously served Chairman of Professional Development and Secretary/Treasurer for Tulsa County Dental Society. Dr. Brown is now serving as a Delegate to the Oklahoma Dental Association and President-elect of the Tulsa County Dental Society. In addition he continues to serve on the Advisory Board for Platt College.

Dr. Brown is a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation, Beta Beta Beta honorary Biological Society, and named as Distinguished Greek of America, and Outstanding Young Men of America. He has lectured and presented table clinics to the ADA, ODA, Hinman Dental Meeting, Garmish Dental Meeting, Tulsa Endodontic Study Club, Army Dentac's, Red Cross programs, dental schools, and local dental societies and organizations on various dental topics.

Dr. Brown and his wife Beth have three children: a daughter, Aaryn, and two sons, Ian and Owen and are members of the Broadway Baptist Church of Sand Springs. There he is both a Sunday School teacher and Director of Young Adults. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He spends his spare time as a spectator and a coach for his children's sports teams. Dr. Brown believes that our greatest gifts are those we leave to others: whether it be a smile, a skill, a kind word, or a thought.

In our office which emphasizes appearance-related dentistry, patients receive the same quality and type of care as seen on the on ABC's hit television show Extreme Makeover.
